Come stay in the tranquil beauty of the Maryland countryside, conveniently located just 10 minutes from the heart of Westminster. Here you can cuddle with the cows, hang out with the hogs, and chill with the chickens. A family-run, working small farm, built in the 1800s, we are dedicated to improving the land, soil, plants, and wildlife, through Regenerative Agriculture with all-natural, chemical, hormone, anti-biotic, and GMO-free methods. We raise and breed Rare Heritage Livestock in a conservation program to keep these genetic lines alive and diverse. Several of our breeds are listed on the Slow Foods Ark of Taste. Our farm practices invite loads of wildlife, including herons, foxes, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, deer, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and more.
We had the pleasure of staying at Redemption Springs and we were absolutely blown away. The hosts, the farm, and the experience were all top-notch. We were particularly impressed with the farm's commitment to sustainability and regenerative agriculture. We also enjoyed shopping at the farm store, everything we bought was delicious and we are truly regretting not buying more! The farm is beautiful and peaceful. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Redemption Springs is on our official visit again list.
If you're looking for a unique and memorable Harvest Host experience, we highly recommend Redemption Springs. You won't be disappointed!
Hands down one of my favorite places for food. The care and love they share for their customers and more importantly for their livestock is amazing. It was our first experience of heritage breed livestock and it will not be our last. We bought beef, chicken, pork, eggs, milk, and dog treats. All of them are highly recommended.
We stayed here for the evening and it was lovely! A peaceful farm and a great sleep. Seth, our host, was so kind and knowledgeable, sharing about his farm and how they raise their animals. I love to see a genuine business. Free range, non gmo, and organic. They have a produce shop, which we certainly stocked up on and I’m looking forward to trying the orange lavender kombucha!
Our family loves what the owners of Redemption Springs Farm doing raising heritage animals. Growing up on a farm before all the genetically modified food, it was like going home again. Everything tasted just like Grandma used to make it, especially the butter! Definitely, worth the extra cost!
Needed to take the new RV out for a shake down overnight stay. Decided to try Redemption Springs Farm through the Harvest Host program. This is a very nice farm that raises farm animals in danger of going extinct. Seth is a great host and we had a great time. Bought a whole chicken and some vegetables from them.
While driving to Canada we decided to make an overnight stop at Redemption Springs Farm in Finksburg, MD and, boy, are we glad we did. Nestled in a peaceful setting, the farm is run by an eighth generation farmer, Seth, and his wife. Committed to sustainable and regenerative farming methods, you won’t find any better tasting meats or vegetables around. If you live in the area or find yourself nearby we highly recommend stopping by to stock up. You won’t regret it.
